I just purchased a small book entitled Raymer's Dictionary of Spokane, Copyrighted 1906 and Signed by Chas D. Raymer 1910. The book is 160 pages and is a directory of businesses in Spokane and includes Advertising, and photos of the local area. I'm sure it's the same company you refer to in your blog. My assumption is this was a nice source of income for the Raymers and wonder if they published these for other cities they ran their stores in. I have some photos I'm willing to share if your interested.res03hrkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15552185880464178231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8796221668764867227.post-39740674376155584252017-08-15T22:18:09.698-05:002017-08-15T22:18:09.698-05:00My pleasure. Looking at our email exchange about the book you found, I see it's been five years since you sent me Over the Border, by William Winter. I wish I could report that I’ve added dozens of titles from the original library, but I've only added five more titles to the collection. About one a year turns up. It's a very slow process, but I'm always looking. The hunt continues.

I’ve neglected this blog for a year or so, but I still collect related ephemera and will get back to writing about it soon I hope. In the meantime, I'll update this post with a photo of what the Christmas Cove Library collection looks like now. Scroll up to the end of the original post to see your book and the others.

This collection requires a good deal of patience and perseverance! Your generosity and kindness is still much appreciated!

Thanks for getting in touch!

Chuck

Chuck Whitinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17535408831418392506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8796221668764867227.post-74853531385887553682016-09-02T14:55:18.937-05:002016-09-02T14:55:18.937-05:00i acted at the little theatre that was up the stre...i acted at the little theatre that was up the street from the Tides; i was about 7 or 8.
